View of the Petone Wharf, taken from across the beach. The main entry gates to the wharf are closed, but the smaller gates are open. There is a boat alongside the end of the wharf, but it is to far away to be identified. There are children sitting on the foreshore. One of them is looking towards the photographer with her arms crossed in front of her. Taken by an unidentified photographer in 1909.
