Shows airborne skier in right profile, above foreground slope. In right distance is the Ruapehu skifield and Mount Ngauruhoe steaming in the background.
Previously thought to be dated in the 1930s. Revised date based on "Selling the dream; the art of early New Zealand tourism" eds Peter Alsop, Gary Stewart, Dave Bamford (2012); it is reproduced on page 282, with date suggested on page 392.
