View across a small lake (Burnham Water) on Miramar (originally Hataitai) Peninsula towards J C Crawford's "Glendavar" homestead nestled amongst the hills of Mount Crawford.
Glendavar was J C Crawford's cattle farm at the north end of the lake, Burnham Water. The lake was drained by Crawford in 1858 to provide further land.
