Shows Marilyn Waring and Philip Burdon as puppets in a National Party puppet show where both puppets are manipulated by the government. Marilyn Waring advocates asking the Americans if their ships carry nuclear weapons, but Philip Burdon replies: "We won't ask the Americans if their vessels have nuclear weapons - and we don't intend to!" The crowd looks puzzled.
