Cobber Kain (3rd in from the right), Commanding Officer Derek W Kain (back to camera) and other unidentified airmen, probably in France. The C O, who has just landed, is asking the men how the fared after a series of dog fights with enemy bombers and fighters. Kain is wearing his DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross) ribbon.
