Maro-Oteata Beach, Ponganui, Raglan area. View looking over the bay, towards a road and bridge without sides across a stream. There is a grassy slope behind with a horse grazing near the top. Taken 1 August 1910 by 'G Bros', probably Gilmour Brothers of Raglan. Name given as Pangonui in several images taken by the Gilmour Brothers, but given as Ponganui in recent maps.
Inscriptions: Photographer's title on negative - bottom left - Maro-Oteata Beach. Pangonui, Raglan N.Z. 211.; Photographer's title on negative - bottom right - G. Bros. Protd. 1.8.10.
