Oscar Garden (1903-1997) shaking hands with the Hon Mrs Victor Bruce at Calcutta in October 1930. Mrs Bruce's Blackburn Bluebird aircraft is in the background. Garden was in the couse of his solo flight from England to Australia. Mrs Bruce was in the course of a solo flight from England to Japan. Photograph possibly taken by F Hurst.
