Description

A young Maori woman holding long pois tries to attract the attention of Uncle Sam, who, with his golf clubs and fishing rod, is heading for Europe.

Extended Title - Miss Maoriland - 'Now, if I can only turn him this way, he mightn't be so keen about spending all his money on that old frump Europe!' Mr P. L. Wigley, of Mount Cook fame, stated lately that American tourists spent £140,000,000 annually in Europe, while tourist revenue in New Zealand last year amounted to only £800,000. Obviously more publicity was needed to attract tourist gold this way.
