Charles Kingsford Smith being greeted by Captain Findlay at Wigram Aerodrome, Christchurch, 11 September 1928, after the first successful flight over the Tasman Sea, from Australia to New Zealand. Shows him stepping down from the aeroplane 'Southern Cross', Fokker VH-USU. Photograph taken by Green and Hahn.
