- Description
This cartoon is set in a domestic living room. There are photographs of several All Black teams on the wall. In the middle of these one photograph has been turned to face the wall. Sitting on a chair smoking a cigarette and with a full ashtray beside him, is a very grumpy man. Crumpled on the floor is a newspaper announcing the cancellation of the 1973 Springbok Tour by the Prime Minister. The man's wife is explaining to another woman that the photograph turned to the wall is that of Norman Kirk.
