Half-length tempera portrait of a grey-haired military gentleman showing him in the military jacket of the Royal Artillery, with central gold buttoning, gold collar and gold epaulettes, and a silver and red belt.
Accompanied by a separate brass frame in which the portrait was originally mounted.
Identification: A great-great-great granddaughter of Lieutenant-Colonel Cyprian Bridge, Mrs Elizabeth Allen, wrote to the Library on 26 May, confirming that the subject of this portrait was the older Cyprian Bridge of the Royal Artillery.
