Description: Postcard shows a two photographs of the Spa, one of each side of the postcard. One side shows an exterior view of the Spa buildings, and one an interior view of the dining room. The address and message are handwritten, to Miss Baker, Napier Terrace, Napier. The message is: "Dear Miss Baker, Just a line leaving here tomorrow. Weather fair. Good time. Description: Folded pamphlet promotes the hotel as a central location from which to visit geysers and blowholes. The "Spa" Coaching Company will take visitors to Wairakei Geysers, Tokaanu, Arateatea Rapids, Huka Falls and Rotokawa Sulphur Lake. The Maori Carved Dining Hall seats 100 persons, and there is a hot and tepid swimming bath, sulphur bath and tepid blue bath (all are free). There are rose gardens, pine plantations, lawn tennis courts, promenade and ornamental lawns, as well as grazing for horses. The back cover lists tariff. Quantity: 1 b&w art print(s).
