Description

A view looking south along the coast towards Mt Taranaki in the distance. The view looks down to the foreground where the river winds on its last section to the sea, with a Maori pa on the curve of the river. Further away along the coast a small settlement of buildings can be seen. There are scattered farmhouses across the landscape.

Location probably identified by staff at Puke Ariki.
