Pamphlet, `Nelson and the trunk railway system of the colony', sent by Sir Harry Atmore to Alexander Turnbull in response to a request for a copy with covering letter from Atmore mentioning it had been produced by the League and including further information about the reasons for wanting the railway to proceed. Includes 4 pages of text and two maps (1) Plan of Midland Railway, Kohatu to Hope section and (2) Map showing lands recently opened in Nelson district for close settlement. Volume has Alexander H Turnbull bookplate.
