Description: Victoria Street, Cambridge, circa 1905. A sign advertises "Neil McLean, gents outfitter" on the left. Photographer probably Frank Duncan. Inscriptions: Photographer's title on negative - bottom left - Victoria Street. Cambridge. 1044; Verso - Real Photo Post Card Frank Duncan & Co Auckland; Verso - Photos all shows Victoria St, you will observe. It's practically the only street. trees are all English ones - ours grow too slowly and are mostly hard to get started. This is a great street for spills, especially in wet weather. Description: Scene at Takapuna Beach, Auckland, circa 1910. Shows men and women walking. A pohutukawa branch is in the foreground. Photographer unidentified. Inscriptions: bottom centre - Auckland Takapuna Beach Tourist Series 817; Verso - This represents one of our many beaches, is really a grand place for summer [sports?]. At present a [bry?] Carnival is being held there lasting a week.
