Aerial photograph of Pokaka station and settlement on the Main Trunk Line about 13 kms south of National Park. Photographed by Whites Aviation on 12 December 1947.
Library client identified the location in this image as being Pokaka on the Main Trunk Line, September 2011.
In the 1980s this station was replaced by a new one at Makatote located halfway between Pokaka and Erua to the north.
