- Description
A view showing the entrance to a crypt at Cassino which looks straight out to the Germans. Under the blanket and partly covered with debris is a dead German. To the right is the usual QM store. On top is the remains of a church. Photograph taken by Dr Darcy of 28 Battalion ca 22 March 1944.
