Scene in Tunisia, near Enfidaville, during World War II, with tanks (including 27 Machine Gun Battalion?) in the distance, firing at enemy lines. Photograph taken circa April 1943 by an unidentified photographer, possibly F R Keane.
Captions/Notes on back of War History file print in Photographic Archive reads: "A barrage near Enfidaville with Jerry on the receiving end" and "27 NZ (MG) Bn" and "D P McGovern (appeal 501) writes No 2 Pl was supporting 24 [Bn?] here An excellent view of a 25 pounder barrage put down on the enemy lines at Enfidaville Our positions were in the [olives?] on the extreme left"
