View of the department store, John Court Ltd, taken from diagonally across the intersection of Queen and Victoria streets. The Central Hotel can be seen on the righthand side in Victoria Street. Two carriages are parked in Victoria Street (one pair of horses have nose bags on). Near to the entrance of the hotel are the underground toilets. Photograph taken by William A Price ca 1920-1930.
