The New Zealand government steamship `Hinemoa' anchored in a harbour of one of New Zealand's subantarctic islands. Centre right a group from the ship pose on the beach above a large patch of kelp. Photographed by an unknown photographer in 1894.
After leaving Stewart Island on 1 February 1894 the ship visited the Snares Islands, the Auckland Islands, and Campbell Island.
