Three men in a stand of kauri, with a fallen tree sawn into logs for transportation. Two men are identifiable from other images in Godber Album Vol 101: Hans Peter Knutzen (in white hat standing on the kauri stump), and S Millington (hatless, standing on the ground in front of a log). Photographed by Albert Percy Godber between 1916 and 1918, near Piha.
