Hydrographic map of Port Nicholson, Wellington Harbour, with limited soundings. Shows the shoreline shape, outlying rocks; the north settlement at Te Horo, the southern settlement, the 'Persecution Colony' at Petone, "Matico" (Matiu or Somes) Island, "Macaroa" (Makaro or Ward) Island; topographical sketches, suitable anchorages. Some bays and capes are named.
