Description

Drawn on a base map, the annotations show information related to the dairies of William B Matheson, and his farm Tiratahi. The map annotations show Tiratahi Estate, (marked red) as one mile from Rongomai and six miles from Eketahuna. It details various extentions to the farm and lists neighbouring farmers. Shows the usual route of Tiratahi to Woodbank and from Flag Creek or Tinui from Tiratahi, and trip details over newly formed roads. The annotations refer to information dated between 1886 and 1919.

Annotations link to a handwritten reference key listing Matheson's neighbours along the Mangaone River, including Harding, Croft, W Locoa (later Waldin), C Evans, Sykes, Martin, Nichol, Cooper, Walsh (later H Cooper), Bourkes, Attewell, Slattery, Chulow, Davie, Drew, Stonewigg, J Lowes, Stewart Bridge (later Godfrey, Suisted).
