Shows profile head and shoulders portrait of the English poet John Keats, his right hand supporting his head.
Artist positively identified by Eric McCormick (see also ATL Annual report, 1923)
Brown is buried at New Plymouth. He was a friend of Keats' and may have brought the original of this portrait with him to New Zealand
