Description

Otoko Station on the Moutohora Line, photographed by William Archer Price between 1910-1930.

Source of descriptive information - Note on back of file print reads "This is Otoko Station on the Moutohora Line - confusion would be caused by viaduct being constructed (c1910) over the Waihuka River. There was a station some miles down the track tentatively known as Waihuka, but became Mahaki when the railway was completed. (Info from Stephen Donald, AT 13/12/4, 23.2.01")
