Album of photographs relating to the music and electrical goods retailer Charles Begg & Company. Images show various branches of Beggs music stores, particularly interiors with items on display including musical instruments and household appliances; a window advertising a concert to be performed by Scottish singer Niven Miller, and one showing Niven Miller signing autographs for a large group of women shoppers; and Walter James Sinton manager of the Dunedin branch of Charles Begg & Company. Many photographs possibly taken in Dunedin.
One view is of a large group of staff from one of the Beggs branches, with students of the Beggs Music School holding their instruments.
