View of Grafton Bridge, Auckland, under construction, circa 1910 taken from the Park Road end. Graves can be seen in Symonds Street Cemetery on the lefthand side in the gully below the bridge. Houses can be seen on the righthand side (St Martin's Street and Symonds Street). Men are working on the roadway, some on steam rollers, and pedestrians are walking across the bridge while it is still under construction. A horse and carriage is in the immediate foreground.
