Description

Scene on a farm, showing men feeding out hay to sheep, and snow peaked hills in the background. Date and location unknown. Photograph possibly taken by George Leslie Adkin.

The file print has the following caption on the reverse: Another view of feeding out. The hay is taken by forks and shaken out in a thin covering over a piece of suitable ground. The sheep are very keen for it when there is nothing else growing and follow closely behind the sleigh. They lose much of their usual timidity during this period.
