MV Karamea, photographed in Port Chalmers Graving Dock, probably by Catherine Euphemia Matheson, who took over the De Maus Studio in 1932.
MV Karamea, of 10829 tons, was built in 1928 by the Fairfield Ship Building Co., for the Shaw, Savill & Albion Co. See Ships with New Zealand Associations (Vol 4, p 103)
