An engraving of Napier in 1864 done in 1894 (annotated); two similar views of Napier from Bluff Hill (one annotated); a large sawmill with houses around ca 1890s (annotated); Shakespeare Road, Napier ca 1863; Hastings Street looking towards Bluff Hill with London House on the right ca 1863; further up Hastings Street looking towards the hill (annotated - very faint image); postcard of Port Ahuriri and Roadstead ca 1900 (part of SM & Co series); men working on Pukemoki Quarry; and Port Ahuriri showing the spit taken by Muir & Moodie (annotated).

Some of the images have annotations in the same handwriting (these are indicated) and others are described on the reverse of the file print as "copy negatives from an enlarged print".
