Photographs collected by Emily Host for her publications on the Abel Tasman National Park, Thomas Brunner, and a proposed book on Abel Tasman. Includes photographs of objects held by the Western Australian Museum relating to early settlers and explorers; a portrait of Abel Tasman and photographs of where he lived in Amsterdam; plans of a ship, possibly relating to Tasman; views of Abel Tasman National Park; photographs associated with early exploration in New Zealand; and a photograph of Pratt's house at Totaranui.
Many of these photographs are already held by the Alexander Turnbull Library.
