Head and shoulders frontal portrait of a Maori man, with feathers in his topknot and curls at the side of his head, a red semi-circle below the hairline on his forehead, and a pattern of dots around his eyes. He is wearing a greenstone earring in his right ear and a kiwi-feather cloak.
