Accompanied by a key to the image: Key to the picture of Her Majesty's jubilee celebration in Westminster Abbey, after W. E. Lockhart, R S A, MDCCCLXXXVII. William Doig and Co ... London. The key is folded into a purple buckram binding with gold lettering on the front, a blind embossed royal insignia on the back. It reproduces the outlines of the image, identifying all the participants.
