Description

This cartoon features Prime Minister Kirk on the phone to the U.S. President about a wind power research project and the second scene shows two people in a Wellington gale approving the project. The bottom scene shows Energy Resources Minister Warren Freer with a plan for a wind-driven power station in Cook Strait, but he is met with a delegation of protestors demanding a stop to it as there must be some ecological threat as all the other energy sources cause them.
