This may be the mill owned by A W Renall which was Wairarapa's first flour mill, built between 1859 and 1862 and burnt down in 1896. (Compare this image with 1/2-050034: 43. Masterton. Streets. Renall. ca 1880's, a watercolour of A W Renall's Mill by William Henry Bowry)
