Photograph of twenty-six children, mostly Maori (a few Pakeha) children taken outdoors, possibly a school group photo. The children range in age from about 5 to 12 years. They are all wearing European clothes except one boy on the left who is wearimg a piupiu. All but one are bare-footed. A boy on the far left in the back row is holding up a football. Photograph taken by William Henry Thomas Partington in early 1900s at Taumarunui.
