Source of descriptive information - From Library client. Formerly described as 18 Edge Hill, Mount Victoria.
The name 'Limpsfield Lodge' was changed in the late 1890s to 'Marlborough House'. It remained a boarding house. When street numbers were introduced for this area, around 1900, the house was number 12 Kent Terrace. A numbering change in about 1910/11 resulted in Marlborough House becoming 20-21 Kent Terrace. Later the site of Halswell Lodge Hotel/Motel at 21 Kent Terrace.
