Scenes at Hui Topu, the first all Aoteoroa Anglican Maori hui, May 1962, Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia. Includes 8 images of a kuia seated alongside a young Maori girl. These are identified on printed proof sheets which had been taken to Ngaruawahia in the hopes of identification of some of the attendees. The young girl's notes at a later date read "Me & my Nan. Ahumai [S...?] (Hopa), Tewerawera Whanga-Katipa". Also includes 2 images of Te Mahinarangi meeting house. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
