- Description
Shows a view of a corner of the harbour, from the sea, with a two-masted sailing ship at anchor, approached by four outrigger canoes. Near the shore on the right is another canoe. The shoreline is wooded with palms, and there is a range of hills in the background.
Numerical inscriptions were made by an Auckland conservator in 1999.
The two-masted ship in the view is not the Iris, a 3-masted vessel. Bent travelled to the Pacific aboard the Iris
