Contains the 1893 report of the WCTU, Kate Sheppard's speeches to NCW conferences in 1902 and [ca 1917], a booklet entitled `Woman suffrage in New Zealand' by Kate Sheppard and published by the `International Woman Suffrage Alliance', a pamphlet entitled `Twelve reasons why every woman should join the National Council of Women on New Zealand' a circular compiled for the WCTU by C Henderson outlining enactments passed between 1893-1938 which benefit women, `A problem of today' by Rev R J Campbell and `The treatment of criminals' by J Hoare.
Includes an original copy of the pamphlet 'An appeal to the men of New Zealand' by Femmina [Mary Ann Muller].
