Hand-coloured diazo print of a topographic manuscript map of the Kaimanawa Range. Gives the locations of Desert Road and Roto Aira Road along with the location of rivers, swamps, lakes and camps. A grid on the top left provides a list of additions and corrections with associated dates and signatures. Waihohoru Hut, Boyd's Hut, Golden Hills Hut, Te Apunga Hut, and Peter's Hut are highlighted in red ink.
