Slides are records of mountain climbing expeditions in New Zealand undertaken by Ross Gooder and his friends in the late 1960s. Gooder went to Britain in 1970 and was killed climbing in the French and Italian alps in the summer of 1971. A photograph and article on him was published in the Evening post after his death. There is also a list of slides taken by Gooder which give an idea of where he and his climbing companion, John Wild, went during that last climbing expedition.
