Shows garden of Thomas Bell on Raoul Island. Man on left is probably Thomas Bell. "Bell's favourite cat" in left foreground. Plants include a large date palm on left, Norfolk pines right background, kumara ("12 H[undred] weight") in front of pines, barbarossa [?] vine, on a slant in left foreground, "Bau shrub, bark used to tie" to right of Bell, and arrowroot in the foreground.
