Three-part image, in three arched lights, showing the eagle, symbol of Saint John, ocvering all three lights. Symbols of the sun, stars and moon suggest light. In the right light, the chalice with a snake in it, represents John the Apostle, said to have been unharmed by a poisoned cup.
