Shows men descending stair from KLM DC-4/C - 54A aeroplane at Whenuapai airport 1950. Aeroplane has 'The Flying Dutchman' on its side. Likely these men are the 55 Dutch dairy workers who were the first immigrants in a skilled migrant scheme agreement between New Zealand and Netherlands. Photograph taken by Whites Aviation.
