Steamship of 1203 tons. Built 1898 by W Denny & Bros, Dumbarton, Scotland. Five weeks after arrival in NZ she was stranded at Greymouth (Oct 1898). Launched into the river, March 1899. Sold to the Anchor Co., Nelson, 1921, and renamed Ngaio. Dismantled and broken up after lying on the mudflats at Nelson from 1929-1935. See Ships with New Zealand Associations (Vol 7, p 165)
