Description

Shows gold miners with sledge hammers in hand, standing around mine shaft entrance covered by timber canopy. Below them is pile of rock rubble from mine shaft. Large Eucalyptus trees in background. Location is probably Australia.

Mining rubble is broken and angular indicating hard rock origin. Therefore location is unlikley to be Kumara. Construction of mine winch and the flat canopy roof are not typical of West Coast mining.
