The suburb of Island Bay, Wellington. Looks east along Mersey Street which runs from foreground to background. Shows, from front to rear, Derwent Street, The Parade and Clyde Street. A Methodist Church is on the corner of Clyde and Mercy Streets. Taken by Sydney Charles Smith in 1912.
