Description

A group of Maori children, possibly playing marbles, inside the Tamatekapua meeting house at Ohinemutu, circa 1905. Traditional Maori wood-carvings can be seen behind them. Taken by an unidentified photographer.

Note on back of backing board reads: "According to Mrs Orbell the carvings in this instance are older than the house itself"
