Description

This cartoon accompanies no B-134-684 which appeared in the same issue of the Evening Post. It features an All Black as an MP and relates to Ken Going standing for National in Northern Maori. He drops a ball labelled Inflation, tells a lobbyist for a new Wellington Town Hall that they don't lend on that sort of thing, tells a woman he had a good idea for price control but dropped it, speaks against letting in Vietnamese refugees as they don't play rugby and goes off to be High Commissioner in London

Label on verso dated Mon 19/5/75 Sport. Label is also partially stuck to face of cartoon. Relates to B-134-684 in same issue

Extended Title - Well, any All Black should be just as good as any of our present members - just as capable of passing (bucks if not bills), side-stepping, making dummy moves, knocking back and even leaving the field
